IEE Brunei
Branch Committee Members led by their
Chairman, Mr. Ang Kian Guan attended the
Annual Dinner of the Miri Branch, IEM
(Institution of Engineers Malaysia) at
the Dewan Suarah Miri on the 9th April
2005. The Guest of Honour at the dinner
was YB Tan Sri Datuk AMar Dr. George
Chan, Sarawak Deputy Chief Minister.
The Annual Dinner also provided the IEE
Brunei Branch Committee Members the
opportunity to interact with the
Committee Members of the IEM Miri Branch
and started discussions of future
technical visits/talks where both
branches can participate and exchange
visits between engineers in Brunei and
Sarawak.
The dinner was followed up with golf for
some IEE Brunei Committee Members the
next morning and the Chairman with other
committee members had an informal
breakfast meeting with Ir. Prof Abang
Abdullah Abang Ali, IEM President. |
