2007 - An IET award was awarded to a
student from Sultan Saiful Rijal
Technical College. It was presented at
the 7th National Convocation for
Technical and Vocational Institutions at
International Convention Centre in
Berakas.
The award was presented by Acting
Minister of Education, Pg Dato Seri
Setia Dr Haji Mohammad Bin Pg Hj Abd
Rahman, the guest of honour. The
recipient of the award was Arizal Bin Hj
Md Hussain who studied National Diploma
in Electronic and Communication
Engineering. Arizal also received the
BEST STUDENT AWARDs from the Brunei
Darussalam Technical & Vocational
Education Council (BDTVEC)
The Institution of Engineering and
Technology (IET) formally known as IEE
plays an important part in encouraging
students who are studying engineering
related courses. The IET Award is a
prestigious award from the Institution
of Engineering & Technology Brunei
Network. It is designed to reward and to
give recognition to those students who
have demonstrated a combination of
commitment and determination to succeed
in Engineering and Technology and
excelled in their overall achievement.
The award is only for Diploma and degree
level.
