A Technical
Talk on the development of digital
broadcasting in Brunei Darussalam and
its challenges and opportunities was
presented by Mr. Lim Sam Lee on 25th
June 2008 at I-Lotus Function Room at
7.30pm. Mr. Lim Sam Lee was previously
the Assistant Director, Engineering of
Radio Television Brunei.
The talk presented the many new and
exciting opportunities of digital
television and the significant
advantages of going digital. It also
touched on the challenges and
opportunities in implementing digital TV
broadcasting, choices of worldwide
Digital TV standard, how would a digital
TV signal is being received ,as well as
facts on HD ready and Full HD LCD. The
session also answered many of the
frequently asked questions about Digital
TV.
The talk was attended by about 30
persons from the government and private
sectors and light refreshments was
