The IET
Local Network Prize is recognized by the
IET internationally; in other words it
is an internationally recognized award.
There is only one prize allocated for
each eligible institution. The
recipients were nominated by his or her
establishment on the basis of having
shown distinction in the course of study
and demonstrated a combination of
commitment and determination to succeed
in Engineering and Technology and
excelled in their overall achievement.
Few criteria are used to assess the
nominees, which include the academic
achievement, engineering involvement and
non-engineering involvement. A
nomination would not be made if a
candidate of sufficient merit cannot be
identified. |
