Leadership Awareness Workshop was held
by IET Brunei for the instructors of
Maktab Teknik Sultan Saiful Rijal (MTSSR).
The one day workshop was attended by
instructors from various departments to
enhance their leadership skills with
guidance from Dr. William of IET Brunei.
There were various highlights during the
workshop which includes identifying the
several different leadership styles,
methods of improving interpersonal
skills, and effective means of coaching
and development.
'We have found that the topics discussed
is heavily reliant on an individuals
willpower and understanding of
leadership; and that it is very much
beneficial to infuse and instill the
knowledge gained into the various
courses offered here at the Technical
College', stated one of the
participants.
Mr. Lim Kian Boon, MTSSR Deputy
Principal in Education and Training
thanked Dr. William for sharing his
experiences and insights throughout the
workshop. Mr. Lim Kian Boon is confident
that through this workshop, the
participants would be able to reach
their potential, delivering results and
portray themselves as role models in the
grooming of future leaders. |
